Moving designer clothing across continents

A freight forwarder asked us to help move 1.5 tonnes of designer garments from a factory in India to a French fashion house for the launch of their new collection. Packed into large pallets, the fragile cargo couldn’t be in transit for more than 24 hours, so careful planning was needed to ensure it was delivered within this timeframe.

Our Solution

Route: India > France

Aircraft: Boeing B737-800F

We needed an aircraft with a pressurised hold to protect the garments, as well as a spacious loading door for the five-metre pallets.

Our experts sourced a Boeing B737-800F, leveraging our relationships with agents in India to quickly secure ground handling and the required permits.

We used a loader combined with significant manpower to carefully load the bulky cargo, with each pallet fitting through the aircraft door with only centimetres to spare.

Everything ran smoothly, with the garments departing on a Sunday morning and arriving the following day.
