ISO 27001 is the global standard for effective information security management and data protection. It provides requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks and enhances processes around appropriate protection of data. It helps avoid potentially costly security breaches. Being 27001 certified demonstrates a commitment to the continual improvement of data security for all suppliers, customers, and business partners.

ISO 9001 is the international Standard for Quality Management. It delivers a system of continual improvement that is driven by our customers' needs. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and vision of top management, the process approach and continual improvement of internal processes. Being ISO 9001 certified helps customers know that they will get a consistently high level of -quality services.
ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). The key requirements of ISO 14001 is continual improvement, prevention of pollution, complying with legal requirements, objectives and targets. It also ensures policies, processes and best practices are in place to define the rules to enhance our positive interaction with our environment.
Ruan has been with Air Charter Service for more than 25 years and has held a number of key management roles since joining. Initially in the London cargo department he then diversified his knowledge and worked on the executive jets side of the business. In 2004 Ruan became President of North American operations before moving back to the UK and taking on the role of International Development Director, before moving on to become Group Director of Executive Jets. Having worked cross-functionally across global markets and a spectrum of departments, and with such an impressive and diverse range of knowledge, Ruan was appointed COO of Air Charter Service in 2013.
Rebecca joined Air Charter Service in 2017 as PA to the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Ruan Courtney, bringing with her 15 years of experience as a PA to Board executives. Since joining ACS, Rebecca has taken on the responsibility of ISO System Manager expanding the company’s ISO certifications to include eight of its larger offices and obtaining an ISO 27001 certification for the London headquarters. Rebecca was also instrumental in the company’s business continuity plan during COVID-19, keeping everyone updated daily with the latest from each office and local situation.
