Flying 400 people to Australia’s NRL Grand Final
A travel agent in Australia asked us to arrange flights for rugby players and their loved ones, as well as a large group of supporters, to the NRL Grand Final in October 2023. The fixture is one of Australia’s most-watched sporting events, so demand for charter aircraft was extremely high. With 400 passengers travelling and the client’s requirements constantly changing, efficiency and flexibility were needed to pull off this request.
Our Solution
Route: Brisbane > Sydney > Brisbane
Aircraft: Airbus A330, Boeing B737, Boeing B717
We reached out to our local contacts and sourced three aircraft with two different airlines that could accommodate the large group.
Working closely with both operators, we were able to remain flexible throughout and accommodate last-minute routing changes and cancellations.
