Puka-Puka is located on the eastern coast of Puka-Puka Island. Puka-Puka island is located in the north-eastern Tuamotu Archipelago. The island is a small coral atoll, and is therefore quite isolated from the other islands within the Tuamotu Archipelago. The airport has scheduled services to two regional destinations – no international airlines serve the island with direct flights. The airport has a single runway and a tiny apron with space for a single aircraft. There is a small, singular airport building, but no other facilities are located at the airport.
