It has been reported by media outlets that, as Tunisia has seen no new cases of coronavirus for four days in a row, the country is looking to reopen its borders for the first time in three months.

It has been reported by media outlets that, as Tunisia has seen no new cases of coronavirus for four days in a row, the country is looking to reopen its borders for the first time in three months.
The Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Ali Toumi, has confirmed that Tunisia’s air, land and sea borders will open to international travellers from the 27th of June."We’re in discussions with all the countries we had direct flights with and talks are ongoing," Transport Minister Anouar Maârouf added.
Director-General of the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT), Nabil Bziouech, has confirmed this will include the UK. "Tunisian borders will soon be open to welcome German, European, Algerian and other tourists." However, he warned that this relaxation of restrictions is dependant on when countries open their own borders to Tunisia.
The UK is currently mandating a 14-day quarantine on anyone entering the country and Government advice remains against non-essential travel abroad. However, there is hope that this rule could soon be relaxed.
