Barracuda Point, Sipadan Island, Malaysia

Barracuda Point is a dream come true for scuba divers on the hunt for the world’s best diving spots. This pristine diving destination, around an hour’s boat ride from Semporna on Sabah’s east coast, is a limestone pinnacle rising to 600 metres. Aside from a plethora of colourful reefs and coral, you can expect to see turtles, jacks, bumphead parrotfish, white-tip sharks and, of course, huge shoals of barracudas.

Sabah is a paradise – not just for diving holidays, but also for all kinds of adventure seekers. Whether you want to climb Mount Kinabalu, whitewater raft, sea kayak around the islands or visit orangutans, there’s plenty to do here. If you prefer a more relaxing stay, the unspoilt beaches, unique local cuisine, mesmerising temples and lavish resorts are guaranteed to tantalise your senses.

Charter a private jet to Malaysia

If you’re looking to rent a private jet to Malaysia, we suggest landing at Tawau Airport, situated just 33km from Sipadan Island. As one of only two airports in Sabah with immigration counters, Tawau Airport is ideal for international flights. A flight from Gatwick International Airport, for example, takes around 14 hours in a long-range airliner, which gives you plenty of time to kick back and get some rest before your underwater adventures. Contact Air Charter Service to arrange your private jet flight from anywhere in the UK, or the world, for an unforgettable journey to Malaysia.

The Yongala Shipwreck off the Queensland coast, Australia

The mystic wonder of a long-forgotten shipwreck makes for some of the best diving in the world – all the more so if it’s located within the central section of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The 109-metre-long Yongala shipwreck off the coast of Cape Bowling Green, 90km southeast of Townsville in Queensland, sank during a cyclone in 1911, killing 122 people onboard. The steel passenger and freight steamer, now hidden beneath the depths of the ocean, is full of life. Manta rays, sea snakes, octopuses, turtles, bull sharks, tiger sharks, schools of fish and colourful coral transform this site into a world of wonder.

Deep sea diving isn’t all there is to this spectacular corner of the Earth. Nearby attractions include Alligator Creek in Bowling Green Bay National Park, where you can dip into a beautiful running swimming hole while soaking in the magnificent beauty around you. If you prefer the comforts of a hotel, why not book into one of the luxury establishments overlooking Breakwater Marina in Townsville?

Rent a private jet to Queensland, Australia

Shark and Yolanda Reef, Egyptian Red Sea

This exceptional scuba excursion comprises three dives in one: Anemone City, Shark Reef with its spectacular drop, and the wreck of the Yolanda. Located in the Ras Mohammed National Park in the Northern Red Sea, this drift dive is without a doubt one of the best diving locations in the world. The Shark Reef dive is known for the current that carries you from Anemone City to Shark Reef, where you can choose to go over the saddle between Shark and Yolande Reef or around the outside of the reefs. Both routes will bring you to the mystic Yolanda wreck.

When you get out of your wetsuit, slip into something more chic and explore the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh. Set between the dramatic desert of the Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea, it offers the perfect backdrop to enjoy something cold and refreshing at one of the many bars and restaurants on the palm tree-lined promenade.

Travel to Egypt by private jet

Travelling by private jet is the most comfortable and secure way of flying, regardless of where in the world you’re travelling to. For this trip, we recommend landing at Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport, a mere four to five hours away from Heathrow Airport depending on your choice of private jet charter.

Wall of Life, Inian Island, Alaska

The Wall of Life presents a somewhat different experience to diving in tropical waters. With water temperatures of around seven or eight degrees Celcius, this Alaskan dive is not for the faint of heart, but the reward is well worth it. These cold waters hold a world of wonder, with newly discovered species of yellow, pink and purple soft corals. Expect to be wowed by sea lions, octopuses, wolf eels and the Red Irish Lord – a photogenic fish species found throughout cold-water regions including southeast Alaska.

The Wall of Life is set in a remote location and the overnight boat ride to the diving spot, which departs from Juneau, is an adventure on its own. Divers making this extraordinary journey have come face-to-face with breaching whales along the way – a remarkable experience that requires a long-lens professional camera.

How to get to Alaska by Private Jet

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is one of the main points of entry into Alaska and caters to international private jet flights. From here, many travellers connect to the nearby Lake Hood Airport, a unique seaplane base that caters to small aircraft and seaplanes. Lake Hood is a popular hub for travellers taking seaplanes to areas inaccessible to standard land aircraft, and is one of the only airports in the world where you can watch take-offs as you enjoy wine and snacks with live musicians and spectacular views. Contact ACS to arrange your private jet charter to Alaska for the scuba diving holiday of a lifetime. Flights between London City Airport and Anchorage typically take around nine hours in a long range airliner.

Sodwana Bay, South Africa

Sodwana Bay is situated on the east coast of South Africa near the Mozambique border. Located on the Indian Ocean side of South Africa, the water is pleasantly warm and home to some of the most beautiful sub-tropical reefs on the planet. Being part of a National Park, diving is permitted in a relatively small section of Sodwana, which is host to masses of marine life including dolphins, sailfish, whale sharks, humpback whales, manta rays and ragged tooth sharks. The dive sites are relatively shallow and currents won’t sweep you out to sea, which makes for a very easy and enjoyable dive for amateurs and enthusiasts alike.

Besides the magnificent diving spots, this sub-tropical paradise has plenty to offer. Sodwana Bay National Park is a haven for water lovers all year round, with numerous water activities such as deep sea fishing charters offering exhilarating excursions out at sea.

Rent a Private Jet to South Africa

If you’re flying into Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport, we suggest taking an inland flight to Richards Bay, which is located approximately two hours’ drive from Sodwana Bay. And if you aren’t one for driving, local lodges can organise transfers from most major airports. Heading back, why not make a stop at Kruger National Park – South Africa’s iconic safari destination with more wildlife species than any other park in Africa.

Whether you’re planning a short trip for a weekend’s deep sea diving or an extended two-week holiday, we’ll find the most suitable private jet to make your journey as convenient and comfortable as possible.
