When a private jet manufacturer’s aircraft became grounded during a crucial technical stop in Papua New Guinea, they reached out to our time-critical division for help getting it back in the air.

Getting a grounded aircraft back in the air

ACS Time Critical was contacted by a private jet manufacturer whose aircraft had become grounded during a technical stopover in Papua New Guinea. With schedules at risk of coming to a halt the longer the aircraft was immobilised awaiting repair, we stepped up to the challenge to help fly over the spare parts needed from the United States.

Our Solution

Route: Savannah, Georgia > Port Moresby

Service: Onboard courier

With no time to waste, we utilised our extensive network and rapid response capabilities to orchestrate a seamless solution.

Our time-critical experts immediately deployed an onboard courier to fly over with the parts, leveraging our government contacts to secure a visa at short notice while they were in the air.

We then liaised with a local partner to organise ground support after the courier’s flight landed, transporting them by road through the jungle to hand-deliver the parts at Mount Hagen Airport.

The Finer Details

Industry Connections: Thanks to our superior contacts, we were able to expedite the courier’s visa and organise local transport on the ground.

Rapid Response: We coordinated with precision, swiftly mobilising resources to minimise downtime and disruption to the client.
