Flying fireworks to Africa for a sporting celebration
We were asked to help fly 15 tonnes of party supplies from France to Senegal for a winning sports team’s upcoming celebrations. Scheduled services couldn’t carry the shipment as it contained five tonnes of fireworks, so a freight charter was the only way to transport the dangerous goods by air. Our expert team needed to quickly source a large enough aircraft that could deliver the cargo in time for the imminent event.

Our charter experts quickly sourced a Boeing B737F that could transport the heavy cargo. We then liaised with the client to gather the party supplies from around western Europe at the departure airport in Paris, where they were loaded onto the aircraft and transported to Dakar in time for the event.
