In December, ACS was asked to transport the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Dakar Team to and from the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia. It just so happens that by the time we chartered the 96-member team home to Johannesburg in January, they had claimed victory. With specific client requests that included in-flight service and food, we had to ensure this was a charter fit for champions.

Our experienced brokers in South Africa worked quickly to source an aircraft that was large enough to transport the team to Saudi Arabia before the Dakar Rally started on the 1st of January. After acquiring an Airbus A320neo, the team then secured a cabin crew and supplies for in-flight food and refreshments. After a successful charter, we had to provide the same level of service again for the victorious Toyota team and transport them back to Johannesburg.
