A travel agent asked us to assist with flying the Brisbane Broncos to a game in New Zealand. They were joined by club members and corporate sponsors, who had booked a special travel package offering the chance to travel with the team. The client wanted to accommodate as many fans as possible on the trip, so we needed to charter the largest commercial jet within their budget for the group flight.

Aircraft: Embraer E190
We sourced a brand-new Embraer E190 airliner with space for the 92 passengers.
The operator hadn’t flown to Napier before and had no suitable ground equipment in the region, so we worked with them to get new stairs made especially for this charter.
Discovering there were no ground handlers at the airport trained to handle the large aircraft, we also arranged for qualified handlers to travel from Australia to assist.
We liaised closely with the baggage handlers at both airports to manage the loading of the aircraft, ensuring none of the team’s kit was left behind.
